About Me
My name is Ben Coates. I started my woodworking business out of my garage in 2014 and I've been working with clients in the RVA area and beyond ever since.
I began experimenting with woodworking around 2009 at the age of nine when I attempted to carve a Santa figure out of wood for my mother as a Christmas gift. Since then, I have expanded my repertoire, branching out into other areas in woodworking such as turning and more.

 In 2014, I was showcased at my first festival in Madison, Virginia, and sold almost all of my pens by the end of the day. The success inspired me to continue growing my business. I now sell my products in several stores in two states, and accept custom orders as well.
